LPC (License Plate Capture)

Furthermore, "Smart Dual-Light" cameras often have a delay when switching between white light and IR, which can cause you to miss the plate entirely during the transition.
LPR requires absolute data stability. A PoE (Power over Ethernet) cable connection is the "truth" to prevent data packet loss and ensure every recognition event is recorded.
You need to see the "characters," not the whole street. Optical Zoom allows you to physically narrow the field of view to the lane, maximizing the pixels on the plate itself. High FPS (Frames Per Second) ensures that even a speeding car provides multiple "chances" for a clear capture.
